Motion41 Dance offers classes in several genres to students Ages 3 - Adult.  The school provides a
nurturing atmosphere where you'll flourish under our knowledgeable faculty and our well rounded
curriculum.  We have the best program in the Midwest!

Motion41 Dance provides high quality classes with the best instructors to students who enjoy dancing and
reaching their potential.  Motion41 features programs that are designed for those who plan on attending
college for dance, becoming a professional dancer, or for those who are very focused on dance.  The
Adult Division offers Omaha's most comprehensive program for dancers ages 18+.

CLASSES

Creative Movement (3-4 year olds)
Movement, music, and imagination unite in this class for budding dancers!

Kinderdance (5 year olds)
Kinderdance provides an enrichment of motor skills, dance, and coordination through ballet and tap.

KinderJazz (5 year olds)
Introduction to basic jazz for our younger dancers...

Ballet Level A (Sections 1 & 2; 6-8 years of age)
Ballet Level 1 is a continuation of the student's early education in more structured environment.

Ballet Level B  (Sections 1 & 2) 9-12 years of age)
This dance class is a continued study of traditional ballet technique, the foundation of all dance.

Ballet Level C
Ballet Level III furthers the dancer's progression through ballet technique and prepares them for Teen Division ballet classes.

Ballet Level D and Teen Ballet
Continued classical ballet technique for dancers ages 12 and up.

Pointe (Beginner  through Addvanced)
The beginning fundamentals of dancing on "toe" through advanced pointe work (placement by instructors)

Jazz
These fun classes explore the jazz vocabulary and technique for the young dancer.

Tap
These classes offer the technique of rhythmic footwork.

Lyrical
Lyrical class explores the emotions of music and interprets the movement through ballet and jazz technique.


Variations
An extension of ballet and pointe technique, dancers learn solos from famous classical ballets.

Hip-Hop
Hip-Hip is an introduction to this trendy dance style with age appropriate movement and music.

Dance  Focus
A class for students to work on turns and leaps required for dance teams.

Modern/Contemporary
Introductory through advanced exploration of  the movement quality and framework of modern dance.

Repertory Ensemble & Junior Repertory Ensemble (8-18  years of age)
Junior Repertory Ensemble is a performing group for dancers ages 8-11.  This talented ensemble is a collaboration between Motion41
Danc
e and Ballet Nebraska.  Jr. Repertory Ensemble dancers will develop their technique and performing skills while executing exiting

Dance Force

DRESS CODE

HAIR  
For all ballet classes, Creative Movement, PreSchool Dance, and Kinderdance:  
Long hair must be neatly secured into a bun.  
For all other classes: hair may be worn in a secure  bun or ponytail.  Any bangs
extending                               past the eyebrows must be pinned back out of the face.

SHOES & ATTIRE

All Classes in the Children's Division must wear a uniform exclusively available to Motion41 Dance
students.  Determine sizing and get more information at the Front Desk.

Ballet and Pointe Classes for Teens: leotard, pink or black tights, ballet slippers or pink pointe shoes.

For all other classes:  Students must wear an official Motion41 top (t-shirt, camisole, or tank) with
shorts or jazz pants and tights.

Proper footwear must be worn for each discipline.
